01Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Ouméra Research (“Ouméra,” “we,” “us”). By accessing the site, creating an order, or completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Research Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

02Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater) to place an order. By ordering, you represent that you are a qualified researcher, laboratory, or institution acquiring these materials solely for in-vitro laboratory research, and that you are legally permitted to receive them where you are located.

03Research use only

All products are sold strictly for laboratory and research use only. They are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, or dietary supplements, and are not intended for human or veterinary use, ingestion, injection, or any in-vivo application. By purchasing, you accept full responsibility for the safe and lawful handling, storage, and use of every compound. See our Research Disclaimer for the complete statement.

04Orders, pricing & availability

• All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and exclude shipping unless stated. USD prices, where displayed, are estimates based on a current exchange rate — all orders are billed and settled in CAD.
• A flat shipping fee applies (free over CAD $200), calculated at checkout.
• Prices, product descriptions, and availability may change at any time without notice.
• Special-order compounds require a minimum of 5 units per order.
• We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any order — including for suspected resale, misuse, or stock errors — and to correct pricing or typographic errors even after an order is placed.

05Payment

We accept Interac e-Transfer and cryptocurrency (BTC, ETH, USDT). Orders are confirmed only once payment is received and verified. For crypto payments, you are responsible for sending the correct amount and network; we are not liable for funds sent to an incorrect address, on an unsupported network, or for losses caused by exchange-rate movements. Quoted crypto amounts are valid for the window shown at checkout.

06Shipping & risk of loss

We ship discreetly and aim for same-day fulfillment on orders confirmed before 2:00 PM ET. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed. Every order ships with shipment protection: if your package is lost, damaged, or stolen in transit, we will reship it at no cost once the carrier issue is confirmed. You are responsible for providing an accurate, complete shipping address.

07Returns & refunds

Because these are sensitive research materials, opened or used products cannot be returned. If a product arrives damaged, incorrect, or fails to meet the 99%+ purity stated on its Certificate of Analysis, contact us within 7 days of delivery for a replacement or refund of the affected items. Crypto refunds, where approved, are issued in the equivalent CAD value at the time of refund.

08Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Resell, relabel, or distribute products for human or animal consumption;
• Misrepresent the intended research use of any compound;
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of import/export controls;
• Interfere with, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site.

09Intellectual property

All site content — branding, text, graphics, and layout — is owned by Ouméra Research and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce or reuse it without written permission.

10Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ouméra Research is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any harm arising from misuse of products in violation of these Terms. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. Products are provided “as is” for research purposes.

11Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ouméra Research from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use, handling, or distribution of products in breach of these Terms or applicable law.

12Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario.

13Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes take effect when posted to this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
